Split Path is not working for me. I have created a split path which is that in the previous email if user clicks the link, then they get following emails. If not, then end the workflow. I can see under subscribers, Aweber is registering the clicks, but the automation is not working. I also tried using different automation, where if they click on the link, they will be tagged and then, i set up split path, where if they are tagged, they should receive the emails, if not, then end workflow. I could see under subscribers that they have been tagged. But again split path is not working.
Hi Anthony,
A simple tweak will get this fixed for you.
You need to add a wait period in there. As it’s currently configured there’s no time configured for the subscriber to click the link which means the split path condition is evaluated immediately. Since subscribers don’t click links within seconds, you need a time delay for that evaluation to happen.
For example, if you add a 1 day wait between the message and the split path, AWeber will wait 24 hours after the “one step closer” email is sent to look and see if the user clicked the link to receive the next message or end the workflow.
Hi, I have added the wait period also not working. When select “Clicked the link”, it always auto select “Subscriber has a tag”. Could it be we can’t have more than 1 Split Path? Please advice.
