Tagging WAY After Sign Up?

This year’s goal is to revamp our Email list and make it a more useful tool than we’ve been doing. We want to segment our lists but how would we go about that without having to tag them one by one? Like we want to segment by home store location, machine brand, and sewing interest, but we have a big list.
Is there a way we can do this without needing to have them sign up for new lists? (We already made the new list mistake when we were getting ready to send out our monthly Birthday Gifts and now I have to merge all of those lists.)
Ideally there’d be a way to include buttons in the Broadcasts that folks could just click and they’d be tagged, almost like responding to a survey, but I don’t think there is…is there?

It sounds like Link Clicked Automation is what you want (i.e. if link ‘x’ is clicked add tag ‘y’ etc):

You can create a landing page that just says ‘thanks for voting/selecting’ (or whatever makes sense in your context).

You can also ‘bulk tag’ manually too (maybe they already clicked a link in a previous email etc):

Welcome in! I was going to suggest the same thing that Martin had suggested. You can have subscribers click on a button or a link in an email and then have a tag applied to the subscriber based on what they click on.

I also wanted to add that if you already have this information for these subscribers, you could use the Update on Import tool to tag them through an import and update their information/tags as well.
