When you have a Buyers & Prospects flow in place, you’d start with prospects, hoping they’ll eventually become buyers. But how do you keep in touch with both groups of subscribers without mixing them up or having overlap ?
You can set up a campaign series that kicks off when someone first joins your list as a prospect. When they decide to buy, you can remove them from the prospect campaign and move them into a buyer campaign (where you could upsell more products; this campaign would be triggered with a tag) or into a buyer-only segment—kind of like an exclusive club just for buyers. If they don’t buy, they’ll keep going through your prospect campaign until it ends. To automate this process, you can set up a rule to tag subscribers when they make a purchase, which can be accomplished using the E-Commerce element on Landing Pages, or using various integrations.
And for those who reach the end without buying, it’s the perfect chance to ask for feedback. Ask them why they didn’t make a purchase—being open to feedback is key to growing your business. Listen to what potential customers have to say and adjust from there!
