clicks not matching

Good morning,
a question to the more experienced.
Why is it that the data you see on the campaign is always distorted from the data you see on the membership page??!
For example, in a campaign I have 18 clicks on a link while if I go to the subscribers page it only reports 7.
I hope I have made myself understood what I want to ask.
Thank you all

Hey, thanks for asking this question. So, it’s a technical issue, but wait!

Listen Up!

The difference could be due to the difference in tracking systems placed into software. For example, the campaign tracking is done via redirect links, or JavaScript.

On the other hand, subscription page count links via successful sign-ups or registrations.

That said, sometimes multiple clicks from the same user is also counted by one end, and it’s omitted on the other hand. So, for the 18 clicks, there could be only 7 users.

Another reason could be that all the other users (the difference) not completed the process and therefore not counted.

Lastly, it could be due to privacy setting of the browser.

So, what to do ?

  1. Analyze your funnel
  2. Consider A/B Testing

And, I understand how important it is to have 1:1 matching. Let me know if this answer your question.

Best Regards,
S

Hey Michele,

Welcome in! How exactly are you reviewing the stats on the subscribers page; are you doing a search for Link Clicked or something else?

You can always reach out to our Customer Solutions team and we can take a look at your account stats as well and clarify from there!
