Campaign Automation Question about removing a tag

Hi,

I’m having some issues with a campaign.

When a tag is applied, they start the campain. But then during the campaign I have that tag removed. Do they stay in that campaign even though the tag is removed?

Hi Christina!

When subscribers are tagged, they’re added to the Workflow so they can start receiving your messages. Removing the tag won’t remove them from the Workflow. It only removes the tag from their information.

If you want to remove them from the Workflow entirely, set up an exit rule so that when a specific tag is added, they’re automatically removed from the series. They’ll need to receive that new tag to be removed.
