Being able to EXCLUDE via tag to all lists would be an amazing feature! Thanks! I have a course and people get tagged when they enroll. However, I found it cumbersome during launches to remove them from the sales emails after they have enrolled via tags. So I created a separate LIST of current students and then exclude that list from the sales emails.
Sending to segments doesn’t really work because I have 13 lists and I’d need to create potentially 13 separate emails to go out - and exclude the tag in each.
I created a separate list as a work around. But being able to EXCLUDE via tag to all lists would be an amazing feature! Thanks!

Welcome to the Community, Paula! 
If you send a broadcast to more than one list while including a segment, that segment search will actually apply to all lists you’ve included in your send.
If you were to create a segment of subscribers without tag ‘a’ and send to 13 lists, then only subscribers without tag ‘a’ on those lists would be included in your send. This method allows you to exclude subscribers from your broadcasts using tags.

I agree with you Paula – same prob here. B/c I want to send a bcast for enrolling in a course only to those who opened a prev bcast (segment created) but not to those who’ve already registered (TAGGED) but unfortunately it’s not possible to exclude or remove subs from a segment… so the only workaround I could think of (unnecessarily complicated IMO) was to create a new list (time consuming)… now waiting who knows how long for the import to process… when I needed to send the message NOW - actually an hour ago sigh… and who knows how long it will take since Aweber is (again) not providing any real-time support of any type… frustrating to say the least 
(it’s hard enough when there’s no support for a 4-hour block … for users and business owners, these things are time sensitive = $$ … and this time it’s a 4-day retreat) SMH

Stumbled on your post, wanted to clarify, it absolutely IS possible to segment and send a broadcast based on the criteria you specified. We’ve had these features for many years.
