Subscriber name not filling in on email

{{ subscriber.first_name | capitalize }}

Is not working — not populating the email.

The old {!firstname_fix} does not work either.

If there are syntax errors in any merge personalization variables, none of them will merge. Please check your message for other variables that have typos.
