Sometimes it’s important to delete the list. Perhaps the reason for us can be different but the Aweber system works similar for all. So, if you are like me who is on a budget, then you might want to be mindful about the contacts you can upload and delete.
Because while uploading make take up to 1-2 business days only. But, when you DELETE a list - it’s takes 30 days to COMPLETE.

Good tip, Sushant! If you deactivate a list in your account, it will take 30 days to be deleted from the system. This is in place so if you decide you want to reactivate the list, or did not back up the list before deactivating you can still retrieve it before it is automatically deleted.
You are still able to manually delete subscribers if you would like to remove them from your account sooner. You can also save your subscribers as a segment (for example, if you are removing inactives) and we can assist on our end with deleting a segment.
Also, always make sure you download your list beforehand so you have the subscribers for your records.
