Hello! I’m Mitchell. I recently retired, so I am devoting my free time to marketing. I came back to AWeber after almost 20 years away. Things sure are different now! LOL
My “business” (hobby, really) is creating paperback puzzle books and non-fiction e-books. A not so recent win: I’ve sold over 900 puzzle books.
My favorite thing about this hobby is the joy of creating puzzles.
I don’t have anything to share with fellow newbies, except, don’t let the hard things stop you from doing the hard things.
Random fact: I used to classify and identify fingerprints.
Cheers,
Mitch

I am happy to be here and very happy to meet you all. I am a wan-a-be entrepreneur with a little website with some blogs. I am hoping to add some links to the blogs that will inspire retirees and those who want to know the secrets of becoming a retiree.
This takes time and patience.
I like to treat myself to a few cap fulls of Tia Maria in my ice cream or in a glass of Almond milk.

2. What type of business are you in and can you share a win you had recently with it?
I run Ask Leo! (https://askleo.com), where I answer people’s questions about technology - mostly Windows (I’m an ex-msft guy) but computers, tech, and the internet as well. Been doing that since 2003, so yeah, coming up on 22 years this year.
3. What part of being a business owner (or promoter) brings you the most joy?
The random response I get from an octagenerian (or older) letting me know that something I published helped them in some way.
4. What’s the one thing you’ve learned that you would share with a new or aspiring business owner?
Start your newsletter sooner. I was all “I don’t want to be a newsletter publisher” for too many years. Just. Do. It. Particularly in an age of caprecious social media, your list is your list, and everyone on it gets what you send. My newsletter turns 20 in November. Aweber since day 1.
5. Share one random fact about yourself (something you are passionate about outside of business, your go to breakfast drink, etc).
My wife and I host the anual Pacific Northwest Corgi Picnic. 100 Corgis running around our (fenced) back yard for an afternoon. It’s a blast. https://pnwpicnic.com

1. ¿Cómo te llamas? ME llamo Nuria Salomó Garcia, y escribo desde España

Hi, I’m Jean Laguerre – an internet marketer with a passion for growth, resilience, and real results.
Over the years, I’ve tried my hand at several ventures. I’ve made my fair share of mistakes, faced failures head-on, and learned powerful lessons along the way. But one thing I never did was give up.
Eventually, I channeled all those experiences into something I’m truly proud of: my blog, jeanlaguerre.com. There, I dive into internet marketing, affiliate marketing, list building, and more — sharing strategies and insights to help others build sustainable online businesses.
My mission is simple: to build a business I love and can be proud of for years to come. Looking back, one of my biggest early mistakes was chasing every new opportunity instead of focusing and mastering one. Now, I’m here to help others avoid that same trap and create something meaningful.
