Integrating Aweber with ManyChat via Zapier

I’m trying to onboard people from my ManyChat automation into my Aweber email list. I’m using Zapier to do this. However, when I try and do this, I get the error “the email address provided cannot be accepted at this time”. It seems as if Aweber is the problem here. It’s not accepting the email addresses the prospect provides in the ManyChat automation. I don’t know why that is, as I have set the Zap up perfectly. The first step works. The second step is configured correctly. It is just that right at the last step, when it actually needs to take the email, it’s rejecting it. Why could this be?

And yes, I have made sure the list these people are added to does not require double opt-in.

Hey Ryan! There are a couple reasons why you might be seeing an error when subscribers try and sign up through ManyChat:

  • Subscriber’s name contains numbers, letter or symbols
  • Subscriber’s email address is blocked
  • Subscriber is using a role based email
