How to Set Up and Connect Integrations in AWeber

It’s super seamless to connect the platforms you’re already using for your business to AWeber through Integrations! Here’s how: just log into your account, click on Integrations, and you’re on your way.

Next, find the platform you want to connect to, click Connect Integration, and follow the steps to authorize it. Depending on which platform you’re connecting, there might be a few more steps to complete.

From here, you’ll locate the integration you want to connect to. You’ll select the integration, then Connect Integration. Once you authorize the integration, it will be connected to AWeber. There may be additional steps for setup depending on which integration you are using.

One thing to keep in mind: Integrations (API) will have the confirmation setting on by default, meaning a confirmation email goes out when someone signs up to your list.

If you’d rather have subscribers skip that step, you can turn it off under Confirmation Settings—but only if you’re on a paid AWeber plan.

Matt, this is a great explanation of how seamless the process of connecting an integration to your AWeber account can be! Properly designed integrations will all be similar with regard to the ease of connecting to AWeber.

If a third party tool offers the ability to integrate with the AWeber API, but asks for technical details up front such as a client ID, client secret, or an API key, that tool isn’t following our standards for properly establishing a connection.

In those cases, I recommend getting in touch with the developer of that tool and asking them to support the proper connection method (OAuth2, for the technically-minded). If they need help moving their integration towards following the correct standards, feel free to direct the developer to contact api@aweber.com for assistance.

The AWeber API is designed to provide customers with a quick, simple way to securely link third party tools with their data in AWeber, and each of the integrations listed on our site will provide that smooth experience, so I always recommend choosing one from that directory whenever possible.

With Webhooks and Zapier, even things that do not directly integrate can integrate.
