Got your automated messages (Campaign) all set up and sending to your subscribers? Awesome! But what if you want to add more messages later on? Great news: you can absolutely keep building out your Campaign whenever you like.
Before you start adding or editing messages, here are a few key things to keep in mind:
Adding a Wait Step
If you place a wait period at the end of your Campaign, subscribers who’ve already reached the end will automatically enter that wait period.
Adding a Message
If you drop a message at the end of your Campaign without a wait, subscribers at the end will receive it right away. If there’s a wait period before it, they’ll complete the wait before the new message is sent.
Moving Wait Periods
If you move a wait step to a different spot in your Campaign, any subscribers currently in that wait will move with it. This means subscribers could be moved backward in your sequence.
Editing Your Campaign
After making any updates, don’t forget to republish your Campaign to save your changes.
Temporarily Pause While Editing
Want to make sure no one enters your Campaign mid-edit? You can turn the Campaign off while you’re working and turn it back on once you’re done.
Campaigns are flexible and open-ended, so feel free to keep adding messages and making improvements as you go!
