How can I build my subscriber list on Facebook?

If you’re just getting started with email marketing and don’t have a list, Facebook is a great way for you to start growing your list!

Having a business Facebook page is going to have you off to a great start. You can use this to direct future subscribers to your sign up form or landing page to join your list.

You can also post Broadcast messages to your Facebook page, so you can reach a larger audience, and people not yet subscribed to your list can read them.

They’ll be able to see your content and if they want more, they can sign up to your list from there. I personally do this with my own workflow! When I update my subscribers on when I open photography sessions bookings, people who also follow my page can see this as well. Think of it as a perk if they’re subscribed to your list already; they get the insider updates first before everyone else would!

You can also connect Facebook Lead Ads to your AWeber account and when someone signs up through an ad, they’ll be added to your list automatically.

Have a Facebook group or are part of one? You can also encourage people to sign up in your group. Don’t forget to be mindful of specific group rules however, when sharing your sign up form or landing page.

Trying to come up with some ways to encourage sign ups?

  • Offer a freebie to people exclusively signing up through Facebook. You can tag the form or landing page you are directing people to to track who is coming through Facebook.
  • Offer a coupon or promo code
  • Run a contest or giveaway. You can have subscribers sign up to your list to enter, but also offer an incentive for them entering and then a larger incentive if they win.
