Edit Workflow - Will It Apply to Existing Subscribers?

I just added my first addition to an Automation since the system was changed to Workflows. The automation is a mini-course for subscribers. I added steps that only apply if the person finishes the course. Here are the steps:

  • Wait one day
  • Send a message

All subscribers that have completed the course did so weeks ago! Will they get this new message? If not, what is the standard way to extend a workflow for this purpose? I hope I don’t have to make a new workflow just to nudge people back into this extended one?

Hello Mitch,

Workflows are open-ended as well so subscribers at the end of your series will continue to get new messages that are added without you having to do anything except adding the new steps to the end of the series!
