Avoiding Duplicate Emails when adding subs from an event

I am currently offering a one time event, and I want to add the people joining to my email list but want to avoid those who are already signed up to my email list receiving duplicate emails. I’m not sure the best way to go about this?

Is there a way to filter out email addresses that already exist on another list when I move them from the event list to a main email list?

Hey there OP,

I would like to share that I have a couple of years with Aweber. And, if you are worring about duplicate data - then LISTEN UP!

Aweber is SMART, and deletes duplicates automatically.

So, let’s say, you’ve uploaded a email to a list, and when you upload more data to the same list, it will automatically delete the duplicates.

Try it!

It will work!

What Sushant said is correct. AWeber will de-duplicate your list.
