Club Inferno News: New Model, New Song Covers and More!

I used this subject line for a message to my community for my content creation to let them know I had a new song cover out, and a new model for my character/persona I play when I create content. I like to generate hype when I have something new going on and it also gets my community (Club Inferno) excited too!

This newsletter was highlighting a blog article where I shared snack and dessert ideas for the holiday.

Overtime, I’ve learned that incorporating numerical numbers in my subject lines boosts my open rates by almost 10 percentage points! If there’s a relevant holiday, I’m working that in too!

I used this “Subject Line” for my very first Blog Post on my Blog.
I also learned that it is prudent to use numbers and add Intrigue to your Subject Line to grab your readers attention, something to pique their interest enticing them to read the article.

This is the Subject Line:

“My 7 Secret Keys To Get Out Of The Rat-Race Now”

I used this subject line in a client email. The email was a discussion on relying on social media vs. other more captive ways of communicating with leads/clients, such as blogs and emails - specifically around “doomscrolling” and accessing content you liked but couldn’t remember who or where on the social media platforms it was. In my mind it was the simplest subject line ever:

Cat Videos.

I had great success with increased open rates after calling out a mistake in a previous email: ‘Did you spot the mistake in my last email?’

It really boosted the open rates and sparked several replies. Yes, it was an actual mistake too. Even ended up having some productive follow-up conversations that led to a few sales!
