New Sending Limits?

Is it true that we will no longer be able to send a daily email to our subscribers and the email send will be capped at just 10, 12 or 15 emails a month depending on the plan we are on?

Hi Barry, Here is a breakdown of our pricing. Our pricing plans can accommodate the following send frequency across each subscriber tier:

  • Unlimited: 15x total subscriber tier max
  • Plus: 12x total subscriber tier max
  • Lite: 10x total subscriber tier max

If you exceed the sending total for your tier, you will automatically be upgraded to a subscriber tier that supports your sending volume. If your account was opened before these pricing plans were available, then your pricing will be automatically updated in December to reflect the pricing listed on our pricing page.

For more information about how this pricing will impact your AWeber account, specifically - please send an email to help@aweber.com and our Customer Solutions Team will be happy to help.

Does the “sending frequency” apply only to broadcast emails or does it include automated emails in campaigns too?

Hey Barry, yes the sending frequency would apply to Broadcasts and Campaign messages.

If you have further questions, or need any assistance with your account specifically let us know.

How do we keep track of the emails we have sent (broadcast +automations) at any time in the month so we know how much headroom we have left for our plan?

Hey Barry! Once the new pricing has gone into effect, you will be able to keep track of your sends under My Account>Billing in your account. We will also send you an email as you approach the next sending or subscriber tier.

Let us know if you have other questions.

Hey Amanda! So, what do you do if you have to send over 12 or 15 emails per subscriber? Say that I set up my automations to send an email per day. What would I have to do?

Hi Benet,

Welcome to the Community!

You can send as many emails as needed for your marketing, and your billing plan will automatically adjust to match your sending volume. If you exceed the sending total for your pricing tier, you will be automatically moved up to the next pricing tier that supports your sending volume.

For example, if you have less than 500 subscribers, the 0-500 subscriber tier would support up to 6,000 total email sends per month. If you were to exceed that send total, you would automatically be moved up to 501-1,000 subscriber tier, which supports up to 12,000 monthly email sends. This would continue to scale with higher subscriber totals and send volumes, so you can send as many emails as you need and will be billed accordingly.

I also have an account that is paid yearly. The email I received about the new billing and sending limits happening says my account will transition to the new pricing model when the next billing period starts - October 2025.

Does this mean that the sending limits won’t apply to this account until that time?

Hey Barry! I see you had spoken with our Customer Solutions team regarding your question. If you have any further questions, please let us know!
