To check if any customers from your CC list are already in your AW list, you can use the Update on Import option. Here’s how:

  • First import the CC list into the AW list using the Update existing import option. This will match any existing subscribers based on their email addresses, and you’ll be able to identify the ones already in your AW list. You can utilize tags to identify these subscribers!
  • After updating your subscribers, you can search for subscribers with the tag on the Subscribers page to locate those customers within your AW list.
  • Once this is done, you can import the rest of the CC list using the Add new import option to bring in any additional subscribers who are not yet in AWeber.

That being said, I recommend creating your campaign first before tagging your subscribers. This is because the campaign will only be triggered once the tag is applied (and after the campaign is activated). This way, you can ensure that the right subscribers receive your emails as intended.

Lastly, when you have your QuickBooks export, you can use the Update existing import option to match and identify those subscribers in AWeber. This allows you to tag them and add them to your email campaigns easily.
