I’m having an inconsistent subscription issue and need help identifying what’s happening.
Setup:

AWeber landing page connected to a list

Campaign sends a welcome email with a PDF link

Confirmation is enabled
What works:
- When I subscribe using Gmail on an Android phone, I receive the confirmation email, confirm successfully, appear in Subscribers, and receive the welcome email with the PDF.
What does NOT work:

When my someone else subscribes using Gmail on an iPhone (Safari / iOS):

She sees a message saying she is subscribed

She does not receive the welcome email with the PDF

Her email does not appear anywhere in the Subscribers list (not subscribed, not pending)

Important details:

We are using different Gmail addresses

Same landing page, same list, same campaign

No error messages are shown to her
Question:
Why would a subscriber see a successful subscription message but not be added to the list or receive emails, specifically on iPhone/iOS, while the same flow works correctly on Android?
Could this be related to iOS/Safari behavior, Apple privacy features, or Gmail handling on iOS?
