How to verify a domain in aweber and to recieve a email

I just bought a new domain and for some reason it will not send to my email to verify it. I had a old domain all set up but i wanted to change it. I have watched several training videos and it shows me what it is suppose to do but I never receive my verification email so i cant link my sites together. I have also installed all the DNS links as well. My email address just shows pending and i have refreshed many times. it also has a green check mark saying it has been authenicated.
