I have a sign-up form created that is a pop-up for when someone is on my website (GI Newsletter Popup), and it works (I think), but when it pops up and someone is on their phone, the top half of the top header is cut off. The overall form seems too tall, but I don’t see where I can adjust the height. I don’t see a hidden divider or anything, so I’m not sure why the form seems so tall. Any help will be appreciated. J
Hey Julee, welcome to Community!
It looks like there’s some extra padding affecting your form’s overall height. To fix this, go to the Body section in the sign-up form editor and remove or reduce the top and bottom padding. I’ve included a screenshot below for reference:
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
hi Michelle. Thank you so much for that. Somehow I was missing that left drop down where you get to choose and edit each area. However, it still seems like there is too much room between the logo and the footer. Part of that is because it will not let me reduce the height in that space anymore than 10.
I would get rid of the footer and see if that would help but I have a feeling there would still be that space below the logo. ?
You should be able to reduce the padding to ‘0’. Are you seeing an error message, or is the change simply not taking effect? If the issue persists, try refreshing the form or closing and reopening it—this can sometimes resolve temporary glitches. Once you remove the padding, the unwanted white space should disappear.
I also just reached out to you via email so if you continue to have issues with the padding, feel free to reply back and I can help you get this resolved.
Thank you Michelle. It seems to be working now. I just refreshed the page and it let me set the padding to zero. I think it might have been the up/down arrows, which I was using instead of just typing in zero … and every time I would arrow it down to zero, it would pop back to 10.
