Push email to populate content on the landing page

I’d like to create an email capture on one page and once the person shares their email and clicks it takes them to a landing page and their email is already populating one of the the forms.
Not exactly sure how to get that done

Hi John!

There is an option to pass data from your sign up form to the thank you page, but there isn’t a way to pre-populate that data in form on a landing page. Accomplishing this flow would require sending users to a webpage with custom code set up to handle that information sent from the sign up form. You would then need to create a custom-coded form on your site set up to pre-fill that information.

Can you please provide some context about why you’re looking to have subscribers fill out 2 forms in a row, rather than having them enter all their information on the first form and adding them to your mailing list through that form? If subscribers need to fill out 2 forms in a row, this can cause confusion when signing up and will lead to a lower conversion rate on the second form.

Hi John,

I agree with Justin! I wanted to add that if you do want to set this type of workflow up, you will need to place the sign up form you’re using for the initial sign up onto a page on your website. Otherwise, you’ll be directing people to a page with just that sign up form on it to start the process.

Placing it on a page on your website would allow you to add anything else you need to that page along with the form itself (ex: copy, logo, images, background image, etc). You would follow the steps Justin provided for the Thank You page to pass the email address over and collect additional information.

More insight into your workflow and what you are looking to accomplish would be helpful so we can best help you do that :slightly_smiling_face:.
