Occasionally after we have pasted a new feed link into an AWeber feed on a message, it will stop pulling the feed and instead show us a weird error placeholder that looks like a square with blue and green and yellow colors in it. (I tried adding the graphic to this post using the picture icon to show you what it looks like, but got the error message that I can’t embed media items into a post.)
Occasionally this resolves itself after a certain amount of time… we refresh and refresh and refresh and then maybe sooner, maybe later, it magically becomes a feed again. But sometimes it seems there is nothing we can do to make that happen.
My hypothesis is that this is some kind of caching issue, as we typically can see it happen immediately after something changes within the feed before we send the message… I’ve felt that I’ve been able to “force” the error to happen by making edits to one of the elements of the feed on my site.
But it is extremely frustrating and preventing us from sending out messages in a timely way while we try to work with them. Any tips?
