Hi to all im just new here not experience i try to add one URL in the button on one template email but i get error Miscellaneous Error anyone can help please?

that the link i need add for my kickstarter campaign i also generate short link but not work also thanks to all to read my issues

Hey Andrea,

First of all, you did the right thing to post it in the community. Because here, everyone will do their best to help you.

Now, I was able to duplicate the same error on my end. And, what I found out is that even though the Aweber system says miscellaneous error (when you add the kickstarter link), but on the receiver end the link is working perfectly. Plus, there was not obstacle in sending the email.

I am sure some technical person from aweber would comment in, but as of now, you can still send emails with that error shown in the system.

Hi yes your right i just try after your advice and work perfect so is just an error of aweber as you say some technical person will fix this issues

Hey Andrea! The error can appear if we are unable to validate the link, but if you have tested the link live and you are able to access the link in your test email you can still use that link. We are working on updating the experience with this error message and will notify you via email once it’s updated.

Its been a while and wanted to circle back, the error message is still populating, Just FYI

Many websites use services like Cloudflare and others that show errors to our link validation bot that normal humans don’t see when they visit those pages. It’s very difficult to differentiate between a real error and an error like one of those bot filters. The link validator will show you when it’s having a problem and as long as you’ve validated that the link is correct, you can send. That tool is very much just a guide and a heads up in case you typo a link to prevent issues.
