Double up - landing page linked to free guide and also link to website which also has link to free guide

With my landing page subscribers will hopefully click the link to get my free guide, but I also have a button on the landing page that says “Visit My Website”. My website then has a link on the top of the page with a link to the freebie. Is that doubling up? Should I delete the button that says “Visit My Website”?

I also refer subscribers to my website in the body of the Welcome Series messages.

Hi Sue,

You can have more than one link to your site on a landing page. Keep in mind if one link goes to your download, the Visit My Website button also takes them to your website, but to a different page than your download so if you want an easy way for people to still get to your website, you can leave the Visit My Website button in addition to the download link.
