Landing page shows “not active yet” despite correct DNS + unable to create second landing page

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing two related issues with AWeber landing pages that seem account or backend related.

1) Published landing page not visible

I have a landing page published and connected to a custom domain:

https://author.avamckinley.com/home

All DNS records are correctly configured (single CNAME, no A/AAAA conflicts). The domain is verified and selected in the landing page settings, the page path is correct, and the page is published.

However, when visiting the URL, I only see the message:

“It looks like this page isn’t active yet.”

I’ve already:

  • republished the page multiple times

  • cleared cache and tested in incognito and different browsers

  • waited for propagation

  • double-checked DNS configuration (confirmed correct)

2) Unable to create a second landing page (Thank You page)

When I try to create an additional landing page (for example, a Thank You page), I consistently get the following error message:

“There was a problem with your request.”

After that, nothing happens and the page is not created.

This happens repeatedly and prevents me from setting up any additional landing pages.

Because both issues are happening at the same time, I’m wondering if this is due to:

  • an account-level limitation (plan related),

  • a backend issue with landing pages,

  • or a corrupted / stuck landing page state in my account.

Has anyone experienced this before, or can an AWeber team member check if there is an internal error, restriction, or status issue affecting my account?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey Ava, welcome in! I see you were about to reach out to our Customer Solutions team and get assistance.

In regards to the error you received for creating an additional landing page, you can only create 1 landing page on the Free plan. If you would like to create additional landing pages you would want to upgrade to Lite (up to three landing pages) or Plus (as many landing pages as you’d like).
