Introduce Yourself to the Community!

Welcome to the Community, Shumaila! I’m glad your book launch went well! Consistency and commitment will definitely help lead to success.

I’m also a fan of smoothies! Do you have a favorite smoothie? I personally love any smoothies with mango.

Hello, my name is Robin M and I am excited to be a brand new to this community and truly look forward to boosting sales and learning more about email marketing!

I make and sell hand knitted Cozy Blankets for ALL ages and Pets too!

I LOVE making the Cozy Blankets as they are so soft and cuddly to work with. It brings me so much joy to see a customer light up with a smile when they feel the softness of their very own blanket!

It’s a lot of work but so very worth the time and effort as long as you do your research and not get too discouraged with the many setbacks along the way.
Work with a mentor if you can find someone to brainstorm with.

I love my dogs! I have an older Coton De Tulear who I have named the General Manager of my business as he strolls around checking everything out and making sure everything is perfectly in it’s place! My puppy is so full of energy always making me and others laugh at all the silly things he does. I have titled him the V.P. of Entertainment! He always has lots to say and get himself into so there is never a dull moment with him by my side cheering me on!

Hey, I’m Dillon Maddox and i’m in the Digital Writer and\or Content Creator business i’m just getting started on my way navigating the Writer’s field in freelancing
ive have pretty cool ideas but yet to have a win unless you count getting to 1000posts a win because i call it a Milestone
working for my own time is a way to make it in this world and getting to talk to people who want to talk is what i call a big win
with being a new business owner myself i think have a small but good team to back you is the best thing for anyone that wants to run a business its just having that kind of support on youre side means the world in the long run
okay ive been trying to be a copywriter for a couple of years now ive went over the basic for a while now and from time to time i still read that type of content just for fun

Hey Martin, Robin and Dillon! Welcome in to the community and thanks for sharing a little bit about yourselves.

We’re happy to have you and engage with you more! If you have questions, let us know.

Hello from a complete AWeber newbie - who’s never sent a newsletter in her life…! - to all my fellow community members!

1. What’s your name?

My name is Lucie Dun

2. What type of business are you in and can you share a win you had recently with it?

I am an Eden Energy Medicine Clinical Practitioner, helping to activate natural healing energies of the body, and a network marketer, promoting a vessel that produces therapeutic-grade molecular hydrogen and infuses the water with several types of healing frequencies. (As an energy medicine practitioner I was intrigued by this because it was created by a scientist/clinician who has the ability to see energy. And as a network marketer I guess I’d rather learn how to send newsletters…!)

My recent win: A successful talk/PowerPoint presentation about the benefits of drinking hydrogen-rich water. It was my first presentation ever - I was so nervous…! But I was excited to share my testimonial about hydrogen water sorting out my chronic dry skin condition and ended my evening snack cravings. I also had two new customers/partners joining my team. :slightly_smiling_face:

3. What part of being a business owner (or promoter) brings you the most joy?

When a client of my energy medicine practice leaves the session happy and requests to come back repeatedly.
And when a customer of my hydrogen-water business reports a positive shift in their health or emotional wellbeing.

4. What’s the one thing you’ve learned that you would share with a new or aspiring business owner?

Don’t sell; share the love instead! :slightly_smiling_face:

5. Share one random fact about yourself (something you are passionate about outside of business, your go to breakfast drink, etc).

I play keyboards in a punk band from the 70s! :musical_keyboard::grin:

Hi Everyone, so glad to be part of the Aweber community. I look forward to working with all of you and learning from others who’ve been down the road with this platform. Without further adieu, here goes:

*1. What’s your name? My name is Anthony Fireman

2. What type of business are you in and can you share a win you had recently with it? I run a tutoring business called Your Next Phrase. We help kids in grades 3 through 7 build their math and writing skills. We recently helped a student who had missed one whole grade of school last year, and went on to the 8th grade this year, get an A on his first math test. He is dyslexic and has ADHD. Considering his challenges and what he missed, this was a huge win for him.

3. What part of being a business owner (or promoter) brings you the most joy?
I love the transformation in kids. While we appreciate the importance of helping kids develop technical skills, what we’re really about is building their soft skills - problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal competence, emotional intelligence, and resiliency. If they do, they open up all kinds of possibilities and pathways to learning and achieving whatever they set their mind to. It’s huge!

4. What’s the one thing you’ve learned that you would share with a new or aspiring business owner? Two things: first, what you say to yourself and others - meaning the language you use with the intent that you use it - creates your future. Second, your word is the most important thing you have when developing relationships of any kind. If you give your word to something, you create space to perform and those who you give your word to expect you to perform. If you want to keep your relationships perfect, whole, and complete and you’ve given your word to something, make sure you move heaven and earth to do it. At the end of the day, that’s the only business plan that matters.

5. Share one random fact about yourself (something you are passionate about outside of business, your go to breakfast drink, etc). Playing golf.

Welcome in Anthony; love what you’re doing that’s so awesome! I was a teacher in the past and being able to see students have big wins like that is amazing.

Thank you, Amanda! Appreciate it!

Hi Fellow AWeber’s!

My name is Kerry Anne and I run a leadership training and coaching business that works with leaders at every stage of their career (entry / mid / senior and exec levels) to ensure they are fully confident in their and their team’s competence so that they achieve their goals on purpose and with heart.

What part of being a business owner (or promoter) brings you the most joy
I love bringing a deeper perspective to someone’s leadership journey so that they feel inspired and empowered to implement and get traction.

What’s the one thing you’ve learned that you would share with a new or aspiring business owner?
Don’t give up - there will be day’s when you want to, but the finish line is our goal. You have a moral obligation to bring your skills/gifts/passion to your specific audience and if you don’t, they’ll go hungry.

  • A random fact: I love nature in all its seasons, sounds and shapes - and need some aspect of it, in whatever work I am doing

Welcome in, Kerry Anne! We’re happy to see you here. Great advice about not giving up!

Thanks for this great community. I hope that I can not only get help, but also share what I have learned here.

My Introduction,

My name is Teri Gibson. I am a professional court reporter and trainer. I use AWeber in creating mailing lists for my customers and prospective customers. My present win as a trainer is working one-on-one with a client who signed up for my Flagship program of training for Eclipse Software and Introduction to Stenography. The part of being a business owner that I love, is the ability to provide court reporting services as an independent contract where I can control my schedule, which allows me to also provide training for support independent scopists who work with court reporters.

The one thing I would share to a new or aspiring business owner is that it’s great to have services you want to provide, but also get your accounting set up and put paying taxes on a schedule is just as important.

My favorite hobby is creating quilts. It’s very relating and inspiring. I love creating a quilt and then someone loves it and enjoys using it.

Hi, my name is Marlene Very new to Aweber . I’ve created an optin form on my website but somehow my email address is in the space where the potential subscriber should put their email address. EVen though I’m in the editor I still can’t seem to delete my email address. I watched a youtube video over and over but I’ll keep looking for another one that tells me how to remove it unless someone on the chat can help. Thanks your your attention to this post.

Hi Marlene! Welcome into the community. Since this question would be specific to your account set up, you can send us an email at help@aweber.com and we can take a look from there for you.

Hello everyone!
My name is Peter Teo, and I’m from Singapore. I’m truly grateful to join this amazing community and to have the chance to learn from all the talented and experienced individuals here. It’s an exciting journey to be part of something bigger and to connect with like-minded people who share a passion for growth and success.

What type of business are you in, and can you share a win you had recently with it?
I’m currently stepping into the world of digital marketing and affiliate marketing. It’s still early days for me, so I haven’t had those big wins just yet. But honestly, the biggest victory right now is simply being here, surrounded by people who inspire me. Taking this first step feels like laying a strong foundation for the future, and that’s something I’m proud of.

What part of being a business owner (or promoter) brings you the most joy?
For me, it’s all about freedom and growth. The flexibility to manage my time, be present for my family, and work from anywhere in the world is incredibly fulfilling. On top of that, I love the journey of learning—each small step feels like progress, and seeing an idea come to life is truly rewarding. It’s empowering to know I’m building something meaningful while carving my own path.

What’s one thing you’ve learned that you would share with a new or aspiring business owner?
One thing that has stuck with me is the importance of starting small and staying consistent. It’s not always easy, and progress might feel slow at times, but every step matters. Each effort you put in adds up, and along the way, you’ll discover so much about yourself and your journey. Just keep going—small wins eventually turn into big ones.

Share one random fact about yourself.
Outside of business, I’m deeply passionate about giving back to the community. I spend my weekends helping others practice Buddhism and meditation, offering guidance through consultation sessions, and giving energy blessings to those in need. It’s a fulfilling way to connect with people and bring positivity into their lives while enriching my own.

Thank you for welcoming me into this space. I look forward to connecting, learning, and growing alongside all of you!

Welcome in Chin and Lisa, we’re happy to have you here. Take a look around and ask any questions you may have, as well as interact with any posts you wish to contribute to!

Hey everyone, my name is Sushant. I am an email marketer working for Online Medical Card and Online CBD Store. And, I must say, that I was able to improve the open-rate for our email just on time for festive season.

I am glad I switched to Aweber from previously used emailer (sendinblue). Its just I love what aweber is doing and now we have a community, who would’ve imagined that!

One thing I’d like to share to new email marketers is that sending emails to everyone is a formula for disaster, so niche down, do you demographic research, make some personas and then SHOOT!

Listen Up!

I am a passionate rider and a reader. So, I am a lot of fun all by myself and sometimes around people too!

People come to for many reasons, emails, social media post, and even hashtags. I like the open door policy, so we can chat anytime.
