How would I save an email broadcast as a downloadable file?

I want to provide back issues of my newsletter to paid subscribers at my website. NO, I do not want to use the public newsletter thingy on Aweber. How can I download a copy of my weekly email with the photos and links in it?

Hey Dianne! While you currently can’t download a copy of a sent message as a downloadable file, you can get the original content and code of the message to then manually turn into a PDF that can be shared with your paid subscribers. Alternatively, you could post that content onto your site for your paid subscribers.

If you are subscribed to your email list, you can go into the email itself you received and choose to view the source to get the coding for the email.

Was there a specific reason you wanted to send them a file of the message? You wouldn’t be able to track engagement with those copies of the messages if it is sent as a file to those subscribers. I will also share this as a feature request on your behalf for the future.

I have two levels of newsletter membership - free and PRO (paid). I want my PRO members to be able to access past issues up to 12 weeks. My newsletters are more like a mini-magazine edition each week - each one contains 5-6 pieces of content, downloadable templates, maybe a video or audio file, etc. But I don’t put the complete content into the email - just an intro with a link to the post on the website. The free articles are available for up to 2 weeks after publication. Then, I lock down the article contents with just an excerpt and an invite to upgrade to PRO. I want my PRO members to be able to go to a “past issues” page on my site, choose from the 12 weeks, click on a PDF that opens for them on screen, with the copy of the past emails that have the links to their content. So like accessing an online e-zine with past issues and links to the content. But I don’t want to use the Aweber feature to post to a public feed, I have that turned off. I can still track engagement via email actions via Aweber, but I have other things in place on my site to track engagement there. So, yes, it would be great to have an Aweber feature that allows me to download a pdf copy of my email with the design and links in place.
