Brace yourself, the holidays are coming! That means it’s time to start thinking about how to get some holiday sales. We all know things can get a little busy this time of year—both in our personal lives and with the holiday promotion rush.
Here are a couple of ideas to help boost your business during the season:
-
Offer a limited-time discount code: We’ve all been there—added something to our cart, debated buying it now or waiting for a sale later on, and then ultimately hit “Buy Now.” A limited-time discount can be just the nudge your customers need! This is also a great way to take advantage of an abandoned cart workflow.
-
Share some holiday-exclusive content: The holidays are all about festivities and family, so offering limited edition, holiday themed content can grab attention and encourage people to check out what you’re offering (and maybe even make a purchase!). Maybe you’re a writer; you could write a holiday related story that subscribers can only get by purchasing one of your other works!
-
Start your marketing early: No one wants to be that friend or family member buying a gift last minute. Make sure to get your products in front of your audience early to influence them to make a purchase before they choose a product from another seller. To help yourself stand out and stay on top of things, start your marketing well before the holiday season. You can start off slower with your content, then pick up the pace as we start to get closer to the actual holidays. You can even preschedule messages ahead of time so you can take time to focus on other areas of your business and personal life!
We’d love to hear from you; what are you planning for your holiday marketing this year?
