AWeber MCP: I Tested to Find My Highest Unsubscribe Emails

I tried the AWeber MCP in Claude to analyze my unsubscribe data. Here’s what happened.

The Prompt I Used

Can you help me identify what are the top 5 emails I got unsubscribes on and what I should have done differently in those emails?

What Claude Found

Here’s the surprising result: my recent broadcasts had 0 unsubscribes!

Claude checked dozens of messages and found that whatever I was doing wrong in the past, I’d already fixed it. My current email strategy is working.

The Real Insight

My main list has 59 total unsubscribed subscribers, but those came from:

  • Much older messages (before 2021)
  • People who unsubscribed outside of clicking the email link
  • Natural list attrition over time

My recent messages show strong engagement with 30-39 unique opens and 0 unsubscribes.

What I Learned About My Strategy

Claude identified what’s working in my current emails:

  • Clear, event-focused subject lines about specific conventions I’m attending
  • Timely booking windows and session details
  • Appropriate sending frequency (not over-emailing)
  • Professional, informative tone

The Takeaway

Sometimes the analysis tells you you’re doing it right. That’s valuable data too :clap:t4:!

Instead of chasing nonissues, I now know to keep doing what’s working: sending relevant, timely content about the conventions my audience actually attends.
