New subscribers need different emails than people who’ve been on your list for months.

But, these subscribers aren’t tagged as new automatically.

Good news? **The AWeber MCP can do it for you in two simple prompts.**
_Note: AWeber MCP is in waitlist status, [sign up](https://www.aweber.com/ai/aweber-mcp.htm) to get access!_

## Why This Matters

Fresh subscribers are hot leads. They just said “I want to hear from you.”

Tag them and you can:

- Send a targeted welcome series
- Ask what they need help with
- Build trust before you sell

## The Two Prompts You Can Use

**Prompt 1: Find Your Recent Subscribers**

> Who are the most recent subscribers to my list? Can you show me who signed up in the last 30 days?

![image](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex009/uploads/aweber/original/1X/af0b5ebe7a668c3a9a813307ff9e46ecc7577002.png)

**Prompt 2: Tag Them**

> Can you tag these subscribers so I can then segment on that tag?

 ![image](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex009/uploads/aweber/original/1X/4b5a3624fe2178c1e34c64ae720b1e39960c8ec1.png)

This will then tag those subscribers for you and you can [save them as a segment](https://docs.aweber.com/subscriber-management/subscribers/how-do-i-create-a-segment-using-tags).

## Send Targeted Messages

Create a broadcast in your account and target only subscribers with your new tag.

Send something helpful while they still remember signing up.

## Try This Today

- Copy those two prompts

- Send one targeted message this week

- Track your opens; I bet they’re higher than your regular broadcasts
